Planned Chili Bar Releases for 2024
We operate every day that has scheduled recreational releases from the upstream hydropower facilities. Those days are determined by the water year type. This year (2024) is currently listed as “Below Normal.” Please note that the final determination on water year type occurs after the final snow-pack measurement in early May.
We are expecting 2024 recreational releases to be as follows:
- March through Labor Day (first Monday in September) we will have shuttles six days a week, with dry Wednesdays.
- In September (post Labor Day) we’ll run on Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- For October we’ll run Mondays, Fridays, and weekends.
- For November and December we’ll only have weekend water.
